My name is Clair (Benoit) Rue, I was born on the Island of Newfoundland, Canada to my French and Indian parents. My great Grandmother was a full blood MicMac Indian from Cape Breton Island, Canada.
My grandpere was native of France way back when. I had the Lucky fortune to meet my fantastic husband on the internet, which is why I moved to Colorado. The greatest and most awesome move I have ever made. Been here 10 yrs and love it, no water but I got mountains now, .

I have been doing my beading since I was a young girl some 40-50 yrs ago. It is one of the things in my life that makes me feel great. When I'm sitting and creating its the most satisfying feeling. My MicMac background certainly helps me be more creative, at least I think so.

All of my jewelery and dreamcatchers are one of a kind as I cannot repeat an exact duplicate, Nor will I, I feel that it has to be unique to the person i'm creating for. Its just my way of working. So you can be certain that if you order a dreamcatcher, you can bet your house that your neighbour won't have a copy nor will anyone else. . Even when I do a pair of earings they are not exact copies, for some reason it works out that way.
